Studio Information

Where did the name come from?

Sam, the mail delivery dog, was created from a real mastiff. Sam is an Old English Mastiff.  Amy, Sam's owner, was working on a name for the studio.  After having several discussions with her her friends, colleges, and family, she decided to name the studio after her dog.  Instead of using Sam's name, she opted for the breed of dog because she had worked with several mastiffs through a rescue program.

A mastiff is defined as a large, muscular dog with noble and enduring traits;  loyalty, fearlessness, loving spirit, and hardworking unless lazing on the sofa.

Sam was adopted from Mastiff Rescue. He has since passed on.  If you think your heart could use some big love, check out their web site at www.mastiff.org .

What style of person would be a Mastiff person?

A Mastiff style person is someone who has big ideas, creates great results, and has a monumental work ethic.
